I love Kansas City.

Sometimes I genuinely think that I was not meant to be a country girl or suburbanite. I just like city life.

The other day I ran into a former pastor, who now is the head pastor of My Father's House, a church/ministry that my church sponsered (a church plant). He was in DC last week speaking at a conference on the topic of rural homelessness. I'm glad I got to run into him. MFH is doing some pretty awesome things these days.
